In August 2023, Compurobot Technology Company recalled the Aiper Elite Pro GS100 cordless robotic pool vacuum cleaners, a serious pool recall reported by the CPSC. Affected owners are eligible for a replace. Here is what the hazard is and exactly what to do about it.

What this means for you

When the charging cord is plugged into the device without the adapter and/or directly into the charging port on the machine, the battery can overheat and short circuit, posing burn and fire hazards.

What you should do

  1. 1 Stop using Aiper Elite Pro GS100 cordless robotic pool vacuum cleaners right away.
  2. 2 Set it aside where it won't be used by mistake.
  3. 3 Contact Compurobot Technology Company to arrange your replace. See the official notice below for contact details.
  4. 4 Keep the product until your remedy is fully processed. You may need it.
Official remedy (Replace): Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pool vacuums and contact Aiper to receive a free replacement of Aiper's Seagull Pro robotic pool cleaner. Aiper will provide a free return label for consumers to send the product back to Aiper. Within seven days of receiving the recalled Elite Pro, Aiper will ship the replacement product. Aiper is contacting all purchasers directly.
