DECEMBER HOME® Replacement Light Bulbs Recall

Issued February 1, 2024 · Meijer Distribution Inc. · 19,200 units affected

Compiled by Maya Ellison, RecallCheckr

What this means for you

Some packages of the light bulbs can include 3V bulbs intended for battery powered fixtures instead of the 120V versions as labeled. If a 3V bulb is used in a 120V fixture, it can burst, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.

What you should do

  1. 1 Stop using DECEMBER HOME® Replacement Light Bulbs right away.
  2. 2 Set it aside where it won't be used by mistake.
  3. 3 Contact Meijer Distribution Inc. to arrange your refund. See the official notice below for contact details.
  4. 4 Keep the product until your remedy is fully processed. You may need it.
Official remedy (Refund): Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled light bulbs and return them to Meijer for a full refund.
