In November 2022, Professor Puzzle Ltd recalled the Rainbow Stacking Toys, a moderate toys recall reported by the CPSC. Affected owners are eligible for a refund. Here is what the hazard is and exactly what to do about it.

Official remedy (Refund): Consumers should immediately take the recalled stacking toys away from children, stop using them and contact Professor Puzzle for instructions on how to remove and dispose of the sticker or to receive a refund of $20 for the 11-inch toy and $15 for the 7-inch toy. Consumers will be asked to return the product in a prepaid mailer. Consumers can also return the product to the retail store for a full refund of the purchase price.

The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails, because users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. The bed rails do not meet structural stability or retention strap requirements, posing a fall hazard.
