In July 2024, Oneida International Ltd. recalled the TonGass pool drain covers, a serious pool recall reported by the CPSC.

Official remedy (Refund): Pool owners/operators and consumers should immediately stop using pools with the recalled pool drain covers. To receive a refund, consumers should remove the drain cover from the pool, take a photo, and send it to the recalling firm by email at tongass@126.com. Ensure all pools and spas have Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA) compliant drain covers, and teach children to stay away from drains. TonGass is contacting all purchasers directly.
